In order to accommodate Field Trips, films must complete at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the first scheduled film. Arrival availability will depend on the show schedule of the day in question, as well as the length of the selected film. Field Trip shows are only available Monday-Friday, on which days we usually open at 11:00am to the general public. On non-school days (holidays/summer) Field Trip shows may not be available, and when they are, arrival times will be earlier. Unless otherwise requested, the selected film will be started no later than 15 minutes after scheduled arrival time.

Due to studio contracts, film selection and availability cannot be confirmed until 4 days prior to the event. Please be aware that publicized release dates are subject to change, and that these changes are not determined by Starlight Cinemas.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 Starlight Cinemas Theatres will hereafter be referred to as "STARLIGHT"

  I, ____________________, understand that my group, and any person associated with my group throughout the planning and execution of this event, will hereafter be referred to as "SCHOOL".

  1. SCHOOL must have a minimum of 25 people attending the field trip event to book a STARLIGHT School Field Trip.

  2. School Field Trips are available Monday through Friday during the regular school year, excluding school holidays. Showtime availability may vary. However, the movie start times are typically between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00am. Exceptions may apply.

  3. School understands that, depending on SCHOOL size and available theatre capacity, attendees may have to be split between 2 or more auditoriums.

  4. STARLIGHT requires that there be at least one adult for every 25 students, or portion of 25 students.

  5. SCHOOL must pay admission for all attendees including students, teachers, parents/chaperones, bus drivers etc.

  6. SCHOOL understands that no outside food or beverage of any kind will be permitted in the theatre or auditorium.

  7. After the School Field Trip Request Form has been submitted, SCHOOL should wait to be contacted by STARLIGHT. If SCHOOL needs to amend or cancel their request, they may notify of STARLIGHT at that time. With these amendments in mind, STARLIGHT will provide SCHOOL with a Booking Agreement.

  8. SCHOOL must return a signed (electronic signatures acceptable) copy of the Booking Agreement to STARLIGHT within 48 hours of receipt in order for the School Field Trip to be reserved with the theatre. STARLIGHT will countersign the Booking Agreement upon receipt. SCHOOL FIELD TRIP IS NOT FINALIZED UNTIL BOTH SCHOOL AND STARLIGHT HAVE SIGNED THE BOOKING AGREEMENT. Up until that point, any communication only expresses intent. Please do not collect money or send out permission slips until the Booking Agreement has been signed by both parties.

  9. STARLIGHT must receive the School Field Trip Request form a minimum of 10 business/school days prior to the requested event date.

  10. Due to film studio contracts, movies are subject to change without notice. Film titles cannot be confirmed until approximately 5-7 days prior to your confirmed event date. Booking Agreement will list film possibilities up until the time that a film can be confirmed.

  11. In order to maintain STARLIGHT'S published daily show times, all School Field Trip shows must begin as scheduled on the Booking Agreement, even if the attendees have not arrived by the scheduled start time. Please plan your buses/transportation accordingly.

  12. STARLIGHT requires an Event Day Contact phone number. This is so that STARLIGHT may communicate with SCHOOL if necessary while attendees are en route. Please make sure that this is the cell phone number of an adult that will be on the School Field Trip, not an office number.

  13. SCHOOL may amend attendance up until 48 hours prior to the event, provided the minimum attendance of 25 is reached. STARLIGHT will provide SCHOOL with an amended Booking Agreement when such changes are made. Once within the 48 hour window, SCHOOL is committed to pay for the attendance stated on the most recent Booking Agreement, even if fewer than the stated number actually attends.

  14. SCHOOL understands that day-of attendees over the attendance stated in the Booking Agreement may be accommodated only if seating is available.

  15. SCHOOL recognizes that only one payment will be accepted for the entire School Field Trip. All attendees must be included in that single payment- attendees may NOT pay individually.

  16. Payment may be made at Guest Services at any point within the 48 hour window (after attendance has been finalized) including the day of the School Field Trip. However, the film will not be started until payment has been made.

  17. STARLIGHT accepts cash, credit cards, and group or organization checks as payment. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. If SCHOOL is going to be paying by credit, please make sure that the individually making the payment's name is on the card, and has valid photo ID at the time of payment. NO PASSES OR DISCOUNT TICKETS OF ANY KIND MAY BE USED FOR SCHOOL FIELD TRIP EVENTS.

  18. If cancellation of this field trip event is necessary, SCHOOL must notify STARLIGHT at least 48 hours in advance. If notice of cancellation is not given within this period, the SCHOOL may be required to pay the amount on the Booking Agreement without reimbursement. If availability allows, event may be rescheduled.

  19. No refunds, rainchecks or passes for movie tickets or concessions will be issued if fewer people attend the field trip event than noted on the signed Booking Agreement.

  20. SCHOOL AGREES THAT STARLIGHT ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY IN DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF PERSONAL OR SCHOOL PROPERTY LEFT UNATTENDED OR IMPROPERLY CARED FOR. SCHOOL ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL ATTENDEES OF SCHOOL FIELD TRIP, THEIR BEHAVIORS AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF THOSE BEHAVIORS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO STARLIGHT PROPERTY.

  21. Execution of this agreement by the representative of the SCHOOL or organization releases STARLIGHT, its owners and operators, employees and agents from any liability for failure to carry out such arrangements as provided herein or on the Booking Agreement and related documents which are caused by fire, strikes, power outage, acts of God or any other conditions beyond the reasonable control of STARLIGHT.

  22. The Invoice Agreement shall not be deemed a final binding obligation of STARLIGHT until it is fully executed by SCHOOL and STARLIGHT, and it shall be and remain subject to all of STARLIGHT's terms and conditions. Until such time as the Booking Agreement is personally received and returned to SCHOOL, signed by STARLIGHT, it is subject to change and cancellation by STARLIGHT and shall only constitute an expression of intent.

  23. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time at the will of STARLIGHT. STARLIGHT will notify GUEST of any changes prior to any payment being made.

  Please read the Booking Agreement, the above Terms and Conditions and other related documents (if any), carefully. If you approve, please indicate acceptance by signing and returning all copies of the Booking Agreement and other documents to the theatre manager. STARLIGHT will then counter-sign and return a copy to you.

  Please be aware that in order for STARLIGHT to process any School Field Trip Request Forms, SCHOOL must agree to these Terms & Conditions.
